Hi Gina,
I can't begin to describe how much in love I am with my big boy!! I
don't know how I did life without him and I can't imagine not having
him by my side! He gives so much joy to not just me, but to
everybody he encounters! I have him now registered as a therapy dog
and we go to the hospital on a regular basis to visit kids who are
sick!! He is the best!! Thank you for allowing me the privilege of
him! Have a blessed day!!

followed by .. "he is certainly Hellertown's treasure" .....whoa

I--over the last 12 years...have certainly gained a new prospective
and admiration in reflection of your 43 years and counting. As I
look at your kids, stretched out on our sofa's....so sleek,
streamlined and sound---I realize, I couldn't have ever completely
realized the personal pledge and promise, You must have made, to
yourself, in the pursuit of enhancing the Danes. Although, I have
committed and adored them, it is intensely clear, I wouldn't have
the advantage, of sharing their life, if it wasn't for your
allegiance to every new born pup you've embraced. For me personally,
there is no way---I could have understood all of your trials and
tribulation and perhaps some times torturous and grueling---this
journey has been---I could never know---the years/months/weeks/days
you have spent on your quest, researching, probing, analyzing,
scrutinizing, investigating, and exploring mounds of material,
articles, and having to walk through valleys to reach the mountain
tops. And reach the mountain tops, YOU did. I couldn't have
known---what a contribution you have made. I only know---that over
the years, I have stepped back, and with greater awareness and
consciousness, know that some of the best times, have been spent
with the babies from your home. Natures like lambs, coats like saran
wrap, clear eyes, and easily disciplined, all of these things came
from your decades of time, you have so graciously given. I will
always, be so grateful...They are the best of me!!!

I have to say, in all the Great Danes we have loved over the years
he is
the ultimate! He's the whole package: Smart, sweet, kind, pretty,
loving and Very Very Funny.
Thank you again and again.

Gina,
My old girl Abby, is 7 years, 3 months, and healthy as can be. She
is from Poker and Thor Kourts Trefia. POKER seems to be blessed with
"healthy old age genes". It is such a joy! Thank you!

Hi Gina, you have always been someone I have admired in Danes, for a
very long time. And I could make a very long list of the beautiful
dogs you have bred, I wouldn't know where to start. I'm writing this
because every respected breeder should be thanked for everything
they do, when they consistantly continue to breed sound, correct,
loving Danes as you have done over the years.
Your puppy "Booker" is the most amazing Dane I have ever seen, and
he is still just a baby, and finished.....he is just stunning. He
just takes my breath away, I hope to get to the Nationals for a day
or two, and believe me the highlight of the trip will be to see him,
up front, and close, this kid is going to kick some very serious
ass, and I am thankful for facebook, so I can follow his career. You
have done it again.......I will be his biggest fan, his sister,
equally lovely........Thank You for showing people who may just be
getting into Danes, an example of perfection.....Patti

Gina, I'm so proud of poker , and you.....what a forever honor....Brought
tears to my eyes. What a beauty he was...

Gina,
Thanks for all your hard work and perseverance that made this
happen! No dog is more deserving than Poker! I was honored to go BOS
to him a few years ago in Lawrence KS with Whisper, who is almost 9
1/2 and still going strong!
We will be in Lancaster to support you, and again thanks for being a
strong advocate for all our Danes and their accomplishments!

You are feisty and determined. Not that this makes a difference, but
we are very very and extremely proud of you and the great work you
have
done with our beloved breed

in his mouth at all times. And whines a ton!!!. Keeps us laughing.
So, Thank You, Ms. Gina We Love him!

in
your love, care and ethics in the breeding and raising a line of our

share
life with them...so lucky to have you out there keeping watch and
setting the bar.

I'd rather wait for yours. I would greatly appreciate you keeping
our name on your list. I found you because of your reputation for
quality animals and great temperaments. I feel like I found you for
a reason and this is where we are supposed to be. Just keep in
touch.
Thanks so much. Kenneth and Jenine

They are so funny ; they are the best aren't they? We fall deeper in
love with our boy Every day!! KC is an amazing addition to our
family. He loves everyone and is the most friendly boy with all our
friends and neighbors of the 2 legged and 4 legged kind. He has many
friends that come by our yard everyday and they all call for him to
come over and say hi. we took him to a Humane Society walk and he
was the hit of the day. There were 4-5 other Great Danes there and
he outweighed and was taller than all of them. some guy said NOW
THAT IS A GREAT DANE!! He was also the youngest one there. Great
Dane rescue was there too with an old guy who was a sweet heart.
(aren't they all) :0
Hope all is well with you.

Howdy, Gina! Just another busy day for ''Finn.'' He's been working
on his soccer skills and loves to kick the ball around! It's hard
for him to miss as his feet are enormous!
He's really doing amazing overall and people just can't get enough
of him. I'm glad my mother-in-law sent you that sweet note. She,
along with everyone else, is blown away by his demeanor.
We're taking him to the farmers market in town again tomorrow. It's
a weekly family tradition and he just loves it! Tons of people
gather around to see him and he's so gracious and tolerant.
Hope you have a wonderful, sunny weekend. We're sending you lots of
hugs and wet puppy kisses!

The boy was a HUGE hit with my family! Our boys can't stop hugging
him and as you promised, this guy adores kids. His little tail wags
like crazy for them with his head cocking from side to side as he
was watching them play. My parents and brother can't get over his
disposition and calm nature.
He's been a trooper and we're thrilled he's ours. We love him to
pieces and can't thank you enough!! His temperament is unbelievable.
We all love him so much and can't believe he's ours! Thanks so much
for our sweet baby boy. He's curled up sound asleep with his muzzle
on my feet.
We are in love all over again!

Dear Gina,
I've read through a lot of information on your website and I see
that I'm now joining a very large group of people who profusely
thank you for the work that you do with your Danes. I really am
grateful that you spent time on the phone with me today talking
about Dane-related topics. For the first time since I started our
search for another Dane, I finally feel some peace in my heart
knowing that I've found someone I can trust.
I'm anxiously awaiting my husband's arrival this evening so that we
can talk about Shylock. I'm smitten with his sweet face, as I'm sure
many others will be too when they see you have a pup available. I'll
get back to you and I promise you it won't be long.
I really adore all the photos on your site along with the testaments
to the quality of Dane that you have achieved through your years of
hard work. The proof is in the pudding, and your work speaks for
itself.
Please tell me what information I can provide to you that tells you
a bit more about us. You also mentioned you'd like photos of our
home. I'll take my camera on a tour around the house and yard and
take pictures . I believe that all the work that I've done during
this search process was meant to lead me to you. I believe in your
philosophy and approach with this precious breed. I hope that we can
prove to you that we are a family that would take the very best care
of one of the babies you've worked so hard to bring into this world.
Kindest regards,
Harmony Watling

Hi Gina,
I just wanted to tell you how everything is going with Stash. He is
just wonderful. We are absolutely smitten with him. We have been
going for daily walks, he is getting used to cars and people walking
around. He is doing very well walking right next to me. He is eating
well and all is normal. Not one accident. He has many large
comfortable beds all around and goes from one to the other. He is
lying on one in front of me right now. My whole family has been here
to meet him and he was great with everyone. I have people come in
and sit down and let him come to them. He warms up so quickly and
then just goes and lays down. Everyone is so amazed how calm he is
for a puppy.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing us to bring him
into our family. I know, he knows, he is in a loving Great Dane
family. :)

MUSHY ? omg! Chazz is the biggest lovebug ever... I am telling you
that he MUST live LONG as I would surely grieve to death without
him. Never have I had one so close to me. I think of him as
human...and when he settles on the couch with me and just lets out
that sigh of pure contentment I just look at him and smile and hug
him and sigh right back. He fills my life with more joy and love than I
would ever have dreamed possible. Thank you a million times over for
granting me the privilege of living with him...I am the most happy
woman and I mean that sincerely...J
---------------------------------------------
Gina, you're a really good person. You're honest and wonderfully
caring to your dogs. You are there for all of you're friends who
have earned your trust. As much as you think you're a hard ass, you
still are quite sensitive and you will do anything for people who
you love. I find it really a privilege to be your friend. Doing that
painting for you was really quite fun for me because it was a
subject I just adored, you and Poker!
The one thing about me that you could bet your life on, is that I'm
very honest, and truly mean what I say...You are directly
responsible for making me truly happy and loved in my life. When I
look back at the end of my life it will be my Great Danes that I
will look forward to seeing in the afterlife. Its you who made an
imprint in my life by making that possible. I'm very grateful!

........I think you have no real idea how much love and joy you have
provided for soooooo many happy people and your Danes. You deserve
every bit of the love we all feel for you...and how cuddly warm you
shall remain for winter !
Jane

Gina, I completely understand your feeling about your show
prospects. Regardless of whether we decide to make this pet a part
of our home or not, I want to tell you how much I respect you and
admire your dogs. You have done so much for the breed.

It's late and everyone is sleeping but me and ''Sookie''. She's so
sweet Gina, always by my side. ....Cash is snoring away in his bed

would do without them. They make my life !
J
---------------------------------------------
I was just reading present and past testimonials on your web site.
My god Gina , there is a lot of love going on there....For you and
your Danes...You certainly made many people very happy for all these
years. You have led a very successful, fulfilling life and should be
very proud of the fact you touched so many lives...with love...You
have really changed peoples lives. You have given them the love of
their lives...that's so wonderful! I'm so happy that you recognize
the fact that you made such a difference in peoples lives. It would
be sad if you didn't. To me there isn't a difference between a
doctor that preformed emergency surgery on someone to save their
life... and You...I think its just as important to save people
emotionally so we can live a fulfilling life. What's the use of a
physical one if emotionally we are depressed. You my dear friend,
saved me, and every time I look at my precious kids, I know that.
You are very special. Your husband knows that, your close friends
know that, I of course know that and everyone you ever touched with
your special kids know that. That's a lot of soul saving!
Jan

I...always love to look at the candid "love" shots of these big

description........your dogs take being a Great Dane to a new level
and it is all because of YOU !!!:)))))))

We want to go to a reputable breeder who breeds puppies for
soundness and the betterment of the breed. While looking at breeders
we came across your website and fell in love with your Danes. They
are so big and beautiful they took my breath away. Your love for
your Danes and the breed shines through in your website. I know you
don't take names or information from people who are interested
in your litters but we would be so grateful if you would keep us in
mind. We would be thrilled to be chosen to give a forever home to
one of your companion puppies. We have years of Dane experience, a
large backyard, great references and I don't work so my Danes spend
little time alone. I will continue to check your website for the
birth of the puppies...it's so exciting.
Thanks so much and I hope to hear from you soon.

Well, the holidays have come and gone,. After I lost my beloved boy
on Nov. 4th , the approaching holiday season terrified me. I wanted
to close my eyes and wake up in January. I was deeply depressed.
Then came your words of kindness and understanding. You knew how I
felt , and knew the solution. At first I couldn't see the light, but
deep inside I knew there was only one cure. You sent me a picture of
a baby Poker son, in a blue sweater...I looked at that face and the
clouds started to let the sun in once again.
The day i received " Cash" was the best day I had in a long time. I
was in love with this puppy! , and so was my husband! We have had
him for only 3 1/2 weeks and he has turned our lives around and we
are happy once again.
He's so much fun to be around. Besides being soooo handsome, he's
very smart. Learns things so easily and just adores everyone. He
will just give kisses to everyone ! Everyday is an adventure! Today
while he sat in the sun , soaking up the rays , two birds landed two
inches from his nose. I wish I had a camera! He didn't move an inch
just stared, When he did decide to investigate they flew away and as
he watched them I think he was trying to figure out how to fly
himself. So Thank you again for allowing me to have one of your
precious babies. We will have a wonderful life together, seeking out
new adventures. He loves to eat, loves to play ball. He's a really
happy puppy!
Jan

Hello Gina!
I've admired your beautiful Danes and breeding program for a quite
some time and am contacting you regarding the litter you have
planned due in early spring 2011. I've read your policies and
completely understand you don't accept names or deposits, but I am
interested in a puppy from that litter.
Anyway, thank you for your response... that you took the time to
respond means a lot to me. I understand that it's your job to find
the best homes for those perfect babies. I will definitely keep in
touch and am happy to provide photos, references etc. What you do
for our beloved breed is not only remarkable, but so tremendously
important, especially with so many out there breeding who shouldn't
be!!!
Every time I look at your website I get teary reading about your
beloved Poker. He was a stunning, remarkable dog and I am so sorry
for your loss. A friend of mine once said to me he would never have
a Dane, as they are such heart breakers. Indeed they are, but
sharing our life with a Dane brings so much joy, humor and love. I
look at my Memphis and stand in awe of his size and grace. For us,
the personality, charm and beauty of this tremendous breed make it
impossible to consider life without them!
I am sure you are one busy lady, so I understand if we don't hear
from you, but I thought it couldn't hurt to let you know how much we
want one of your beautiful babies!
Best,
Kelly Edmonds

With warm jowls laying on my lap...With a head nestled under my arm,
I feel the breath that breathes such love, With eyes that hold such
charm.
As I stroke their coats, and kiss their cheeks, I am touching pure
devotion,
Its Not, just from their pure hearts, that stirs such deep
emotion.
You raised the bar--You touched a star, and for all, You paid
the price,
And with persevering love and work, and years of sacrifice.
The world is dotted and speckled, with homes where Your kids live,
Can You Possibly even understand, how much love they give?
With each caressing lick, from a wet soft warm pink tongue..
Is just another reminder, of how hero's songs, aren't sung.
I for one, am so grateful, for the unselfish driven commitment,
Gina, none compare, to your accomplishments and endearment.
You have touched the hearts, and pierced the souls with little baby
Danes,
Where lounging near a fireplace, A beautiful Canine Reigns.
I will never look at these gorgeous kids, without always recognizing
That somewhere in the shadows, I see you harmonizing
A matriarch of many, Your accomplishments are unrivaled
A pioneer of hundreds, Your lovely spirit still-- unbridled..
How indebted I am for all of your wisdom and hours of instruction
What would I have done, with out your generous conviction.
You deserve a Pulitzer Prize for all you've done for
the Danes
And for all of your accomplishments, and for all your pups have
gained.
The Dane world is a better place, because YOU were in it.
And so is my home, where pups roam, becuz of your guts and grit.
So I humbly thank YOU, for these unmatched babies of mine...
For You are on top, with the puppies you've got, as proven through
out time..
Always Grateful......Jinji

Just went on your web site and read all the testimonial letters. IT
actually soothed my pain for the moment anyway...All those people
whose lives you helped with your Danes. They all feel the same as i
do. I'M Very grateful to you for giving me the love of my life and
the best 10 years i ever had....I hope to see you one day ..And be
able to love again.....thanks for your support , and good advise ,
all these past 10 years ....

This dog is so special....Gina ....I can NEVER be grateful
enough to you for having him..."he lights up my life"... in the
mornings he is such a hugger when I awake.......so
affectionate......no human could be so adoring.......makes me feel
like a QUEEN. I cannot touch that soft coat enough....his eye
whiskers tickle me so.......he puts that muzzle up to my face and I
am in such delight..........luvluvluvluvluvluv that precious wonder
of a being.............

Gina,
I was just looking at your website, and wanted to let you know how
much I appreciate a Great Dane breeder that shows they want a puppy
to go to a good home. As the owner of two Great Danes, it takes a
certain person to own a Great Dane.
Too many people think the Danes are so cute, but then don't realize
that they will turn into giants.
Greta is my Harlequin that we got as a puppy, and she is a certified
therapy dog . Zena, our mantle, is three days younger than Greta and
she needed a lot of love after her rescue.
Thanks for all you do for the breed,
Cathy Lueder

Hi Gina,
I guess you can add me to the list of admirers! I'm from the West
Coast and just loved Poker (I know you still miss him and always
will) and his numerous progeny (grand kids included). I'm still new
to Danes and conformation showing (less than 2 years). I'm such a
big fan of your line that I'm in close contact with a breeder here
in the west coast who bred and owns a couple of Poker grand kids.
I'm silently hoping that she goes back to Poker when she breeds her
girl/s, and that I'll be fortunate enough to get a male show harle.
Just want to let you know that your new hopeful Sting is absolutely
gorgeous and is what I'd hope for in a potential show pup.
Sincerely,
Gary

They say to invest in gold now dayz.....hmmm, really? Cuz as I drove
away...from Your home, with another one of my Gina K-9's on my
lap.....I gazed down on this puppy Specimen with splashes of
'Silver" laced among the coat of "Pearl" and "Opal". Framed by
touches of Black Onyx. Topaz Tanzanite turquoise eyes, that stare
back at me, like glimmering stars from far away. There is NO AMOUNT
of GOLD in this world, that is valued and cherished more than this
little dumplin. Nope, they can keep it all, for lying with her soft
pink nose tucked under my elbow, she is a treasure, that is not
measured by the value of man. Gina, hugging U goodbye, didn't seem
adequate or thanks enough. But I know this, You more than anything,
will feel thanked by knowing, without a sniglet of a doubt, This
little jewel, will be loved, warm, coddled, cared for and adored all
of her dayz. When I look at my 'girl's,' I see U, and the years of
selfless devotion that has in turned GIFTED many with the forever
memories and life changing years with Your babies. Yes...they can
keep their 'gold', cuz I have something far greater. Someone without
vices or malice, or prejudice or judgment. Someone who with a stroke
of a warm pink tongue, wraps me up, and envelopes me in a Gift that
will NEVER carry a price tag. Again, my dear FRIEND.......I owe you
BIG.......You bless me in legions of ways.....with trendrils of
memories...You and your spectacular K-9's...xoxoxo
Always,
JinjiDare
---------------------------------------------
Gina..........THANK YOU a zillion for this most magnificent babeee....you
probably are sick of hearing it.....but I won't live long enough to
say it enough......... everyone adores your puppies but I feel like
I have the corner on that gratitude.......he's been so long in
coming.......and worth every second I waited all those years.....
when I look into those stunning soft sweet brown eyes...well...life
is beautiful because I am seeing it through him...lovlovlov
Jane
---------------------------------------------
Gina....I am
bathing in thoughts.....of now, on the cusp of bringing home another
magnificent K-9, bred, borne in the miraculous care and nurturing of
YOU. From my giant gentle Shadrack, a beauty
unto his own....to our darling Dancing Diva Dare, whom moves like
liquid, and has a unique personality, that captivates and engages,
anyone that is so blessed to be within her breathing range. Now, I
enter a new phase, with a gorgeous, pup, that awaits, unknown to
her...a family that has prepared endlessly for her debut. Tallulah,
my Gina's baby girl, I'm not sure what makes me more ecstatic. For
having YOU as my mentor, my friend of these stunning creatures, whom
YOU have loved, and cradled and spent never ending hours, caretaking
while they sleep, nurse, grow and develop into the most spectacular
K-9 specimens, that breathe. How many life time memories, will I
own, because of your dedication and devotion, to the animals that
you love more than life itself. You are a gift to me, so grand of a
gift, that each puppy that blesses my life, comes back to this
beautiful soul, with intense love, attraction and attention to the
most fragile of details in acquiring perfection in Great Danes.
There isn't a monetary amount, that could possibly reward
You for the loyalty, allegiance and Commitment, you have unselfishly
given in the
last 41 plus years. I intensely adore these babies that You have
blessed me with. As important...I have witnessed the cultivation of
a marvelous lady, and I consider her my friend, mentor, and a
genuine larger than life, Symbol of supreme breeding. There is none,
that compares to YOU.. I will always be indebted....Thank You, isn't
enough, but ---Gina...thank U.....from my heart Jinji

This is EXACTLY
what impressed me so much about POKER.
Yes, yes, he's a beautiful show dog, that's granted and only the
blind cannot see that he's superior in ring type to nearly
everything in spots that has walked in the ring in years. But he's
more than that--he's a real dog, a loving dog, a sturdy dog, a
Dane to hang your hat on!
And that he is SO SOUND (mind and body) as well as still
STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL at 7 years old--well that just takes your
breath away!
I'm honored to breed to him--to any of your wonderful dogs, as
they are part of one of those truly great & too rare things, a
successful, thoughtful bloodline!
I'll keep in touch about Amour. I'd like to think she could be a
tiny part of Poker going down in history as one of our premier
stud dogs....which I think is already a given.
Best regards, JP Yousha

Gina,
Went to the dog show today. There was a young girl dressed like a
typical handler getting ready to show her fawn. She was from New
Mexico She looked barely 19 years old. She asked me where i got my
harle and when I said GMJ her eyes lit up. She said she went on your
web site all the time and just loved your Danes. Thought that was a
nice interesting story. She loved your web site.....she loved poker,
she loved all your Danes...so the moral of my story...You have the
best bred harles in the country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would only get a harl from you. Pet quality or show, I only trust
you and your harles are the best! still cant get over that mushface
Sting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( but one day in the future if I ever did
show a harl it would only be from you, to succeed, one must learn
from the best out there and that's you. )
Jan :)

Hi Gina,
Thanks for all your help. I just wanted to tell you that you have
beautiful dogs and I look forward to hopefully owning one someday.
Thanks

Hi Gina,
I saw on your site where you have two planned breeding's for this
summer. I'm not really interested in contacting other breeders for a
pup. I am so impressed with your program I'm really hoping for a GMJ
pup. When we were in the cattle business we were lucky enough to
have a number of breeders that would not buy from anyone but us.
Like you we built our program on breeding only the highest quality
animals we could obtain. One last thing. I don't know who does you
website for you but it is by far the best of any breeder's I've
seen.
Thanks again
Bobby Moody

Gina,
By your efforts, in my opinion, you have produced the most beautiful
marked harlequin puppy I have seen in a very long time.In years to
come wherever we go this beautiful boy will be the center of
attraction. Adored and photographed by hundreds.
It's become very clear to me that other people think this is a very
special puppy as well. He should have a name that represents his
pride in breeding and beauty. He may not be in the show ring, but he
still represents all the years and dedication it took you to get him
here. He will represent the quality of the GMJ line (as so many
before him) Having said that..........Here is the short list of
names (ones that you have shown interest in): Matisse, Benson,
Newman, Bogart.
We await YOUR decision!
JIM

Dear Gina:
My name is Carleen Evanoff. I live in Denver. I have two harlies,
Natasha 2.5 yrs and puppy Neala 10 mos. Although Neala has some
color flaws (and I didn't want to crop her ears), she has great
bones, and moves like a dream. Her personality is heavenly. I feel I
can see Zacharia P Steele in her!
The point of telling you all this is that I have spent hours on your
site, looking at your gorgeous dogs, studying their lines and their
heads. I spend hours researching pedigrees online. I loved looking
at pictures of Poker and all the dogs. I just checked your site now
and was horrified to read about Poker's passing. We don't know each
other but I felt compelled to write and say I was so sad to read the
story, I felt like crying. Poker was magnificent. I feel angry that
such a beautiful dog could be taken so soon and I cannot imagine how
you must feel. I am scary-attached to my dogs, and I dread the day I
must say goodbye to them. Your tribute to Poker was very moving. He
will forever be the King of Harlies!
I am so sorry and I will always enjoy looking at his pictures and
his kids. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Hello Gina,
We spoke on the phone last week about any available pups out of your
latest litter. I have spoken with a couple other breeders and wanted
you to know that from Texas to Ohio your dogs are notorious for
their quality and temperament. In discussing the pedigrees with the
other breeders your name was highly regarded as the best breeder
in the last 20 years!!! These people did not know that I had spoken
to you so it was truly a compliment to you and your dogs!! I just
wanted to pass this along to you. Its nice to realize that your
hard work in the breed is recognized all over the country.
Thanks again for your time!

Oh, Gina, I wish
you could have seen Nevada today. We took him to Albion to March in
the Festival of the Forks parade with all of the kids from school.
Everyone there loved him, people were petting him, kids were hugging
on him, everyone was talking about him...and he ate up every minute
of it. He was so well mannered and genuinely happy to be there.
Thank you for sharing such a wonderful boy with us. We thought of
you a lot today! Take care.

Oh Gina Poker is
still breathtaking. What a wonderful rep for the breed and I mean
all colors. Kiss him for me!
Thanks for sharing your baby

If you could own any dog in
the world, which dog would it be?
Now I don't just mean breed, I mean a specific dog that you would
love to call your own, whether it is your breed or not. For example
there are two dogs, I would love to call mine.
- The first one is a Shetland Sheepdog named "CH Pop Star SS of
Northern Farm ROM"
- The second is a Great Dane named "CH GMJ'S The Five Card Studd"
Additional Details
Lol, no you don't have to pick a fictional dog. The two I picked are
real dogs, shining examples of their breeds, and also great
producers for their breeds.

Gina,
I have just finished going through and reading your entire web site.
I have to tell you how refreshing it is to see such magnificent
Danes. Your web site is wonderful. I especially liked the
explanation of Health you give. We have the same philosophy.
Especially the vaccine controversy. Our daughter never had a vaccine
(don't know how we got her through school) but she is a healthy,
happy adult. Our Danes never did either.
My husband had his first Dane 45 years ago and we have had 13 in the
past 30 years together. We find ourselves Daneless for the first
time and are lost. I will watch your web site and anxiously await
your new arrivals in the Fall.
Thank you, Gina, for doing such a great job in raising some of the
prettiest, smartest, loving, funny, sweet babies.
Best to you,
Shelley White

Saw your update on
your website......another beautiful Harl creation with Chaz ! 12
weeks & look at that topline and angulation ! Cute as a button, and
looks like a future force to be reckoned with in the ring ! GMJ
perfection.....you're a Hall of Fame breeder that just continues to
shine so bright in the world of Great Danes !

This is EXACTLY
what impressed me so much about POKER.
Yes, yes, he's a beautiful show dog, that's granted and only the
blind cannot see that he's superior in ring type to nearly
everything in spots that has walked in the ring in years. But, he's
more than that--he's a real dog, a loving dog, a sturdy dog, a Dane
to hang your hat on! And that he is SO SOUND (mind and body) as well
as still STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL at 7 years old--well that just takes
your breath away!
I'm honored to breed to him--to any of your wonderful dogs, as they
are part of one of those truly great & too rare things, a
successful, thoughtful bloodline!
I'll keep in touch about Amour. I'd like to think she could be a
tiny part of Poker going down in history as one of our premier stud
dogs....which I think is already a given.

She is
remarkable---Rode all the way home with nary a whimper---snuggled
inside my arm, resting on her pillow, covered with her blanket.
Stopped...she tinkled in the grass....right back to her safe slumber
sanctuary on my lap head buried on her feather pillow all the way to
Her new home. We took pix...with her first foot steps over the
threshold... Some of her family came to visit. She had a delicious
dinner, finished it all..... Did all of her voiding and bathroom
stops outside, where she is suppose to. She slept on my bed, with my
body between Shadrack and hers, and she never moved all night. She
slept like a newborn infant---all night snuggled inside my favorite
fuzzy blanket...with her little puppy muzzle pressed up against my
check----Out at 6:30 ; back to bed...immediately went into a deep
sleep again until 8----- She ate a big juicy warm breakfast......had
her little bathroom break......She roams in and out at her
leisure....to the back yard, which she is finding quite the thrill.
She is taking a mid morning k-9 puppy nap at my side on the sofa.
I've got a trillion pix to go through, so I'll send you a few as I
get them uploaded.
It warmed my heart to see you----you my adorable darling Gina.... I
can not possibly thank YOU enough, for the joy your babies have
saturated me with. A pleasure to see them healthy warm, loved, and
CATERED to.
Thanx Gina, for sharing a part of YOUR WORLD with this little
country bumpkin on
Quincy. For that, you have a genuinely carved a place-----inside my
heart....But I think
you knew that already.

Hi Gina,
We briefly met at the Nationals in October. I took this wonderful
picture and I wanted you to have it. I overheard a Judge saying it's
historical , counting over 500 years of experience in the group!
You have had an incredible breeding career and continue to produce
lovely Danes. You deserve every bit of credit for your
accomplishments, dedication and hard won success.
I hope that you have many successes in the New Year. It was very
nice to meet you and see your beautiful boy Poker.
Best Wishes,

Thanks so much for
returning my email! I've drooled (no pun intended) over your Danes
forever! I've attached pics of Bentley, as I'm sure everyone else
wants to see them as much as I want to show them! I always include
his "baby" pictures because they show what a sweet boy he really
was.
Thank you again for taking the time to read and answer my letter. I
really appreciate it, and again; you have magnificent Danes!!

Hi Gina!
Mav is doing just wonderful. He is the celebrity where my parents
live. Everybody just loves him, and SO many people told my dad they
didn't realize Danes were so friendly. He is just perfect. You
couldn't find a truer Dane, in both looks and personality.
He gets more handsome as the weeks pass by, and he literally takes
my breath away and makes my heart do this funny flip-flop thing
every time I see him. When my mom comes back from the hospital I'm
going to have a hard time taking him back.
You remember that we got Mav for my dad to help with his depression,
right? You wouldn't believe the change in BOTH my dad and mom. Mav
totally makes them want to get up in the morning. They are both so
smitten with him you would think he was human. The change in both of
them is amazing. And he just eats their love up like candy.
Right now he is laying on his bed in the living room, watching me
write to you. My parents tell me all the time how much he adores me,
and he flips out every time he sees me. I always tell him I feel the
same way about him.
I'll send you some new pics later on in the week so you can see the
man he's turning into.
Much love (and slobbers) to you and yours, Gina!

I wanted to e-mail you about your Piebald male available...My God !

them. He's such a handsome boy !

Hi Gina!!
I just wanted to thank you once again for everything. Thank you for
being so gracious and helpful to my mother and I, thank you for
allowing us to have one of your "babies", and thank you for helping
us bring my dad back to life. His reaction to Maverick was
absolutely priceless. The light in his eyes and the smile on his
face are things that I haven't seen in a long, long time. Once he
"really" realized that Maverick was his, he got down on the floor
and he just sat there, stunned. Rarely do I ever see my dad
speechless, but today he was. But with how big his smile was, he
needed no words.
I told you before that I have admired you and your Danes for a long
time, and after meeting you (and your Danes) today, I see that my
admiration was not unfounded. You are everything one could want in a
breeder. I cannot tell you how honored my parents are that they are
privileged enough to own (and be owned by) a GMJ Dane.
Once again, THANK YOU. I will most definitely be keeping in touch
with you concerning how well Maverick is doing. Oh, and I just got
off the phone with my dad - he and Maverick are watching the
football game. *grin*

RE: ''Sinatra
''finishing from 9-12
Rachel
CONGRATULATIONS - I am so happy for you and that baby girl. She
looked beautiful at both shows I thought - best I have ever seen her
show. She was alert, up and saying "Look at me". You deserved both
Wins and then some.
I thought it was great to have both Sinatra and Madi pulled out for
WB - GMJ was well represented with our two and MJ's Poker son. Also,
on the west coast, Mick, a Rocky son, took a 4 pt. major, and
D'kota's 6 mo. kids.... Danni, Madi's harl sister, took a 4 pnt.
major RWB........
As I said to Gina, we are all benefiting from her steady development
of superb bloodlines, at least those who are wise enough to breed
into her line.

Hello Gina,
We've not "officially met" although I've had the opportunity to briefly say hello at some shows this
past year, but I wanted to extend my compliments on your outstanding
Danes and the impressive
name you have made for them, and yourself over the years you've been involved. I've had the
pleasure of meeting several of your Danes, and their offspring over the years and continue to
admire your newest bunch via the internet. From your stunning Sinatra to the breathtaking Shriner
(whom I've oggled since before nationals) to the beautiful Star and Gretchen you've had a hand in
producing with Lisa (Xcel).
Anyway, again, I just wanted to extend my compliments and thank you for providing paths for us
"newbies" to walk down and learn from.

Hi Gina,
Can you believe that Strider is a year old - He loves his mom, that's for sure. He is very friendly to
strangers when I take him out. I love him so much. As you can see from the photos, my
grandchildren love him too, and Aleah MUST give him a cookie when she comes over. I mean - how
great is he!!!!!!
Well, let me know about future Strider pups - if any . I only want the best and to me - you are the
ONLY way to go!!! Thanks again for letting me have him - he has helped me through some rough
times!!

Gina,
Just had to let you know...was checking your website for
updates...WHAT a mug that
Jersey girl has ! I scrolled down, looked at her and laughed .that adoring " you're
beautiful laugh ".
There's not a better breeder out there....you're the MASTER !
Bob, Laura....and of course, Deuce.

Hi Gina,
Your beautiful Poker pups are all so stunning - I just love Maverick's face and Nevada
- looks so much like dad. Have you had any prospects to co-own Jersey? She is fabulous. You know if I had the right environment for breeding I would do it in an instant - she is just so beautiful!
Best to you, and as always, thank you for Zoe! We treasure her every day - the absolute best dog we have ever had.

Gina,
I woke him at 4:30 this morning, and he came over to me when I was reading the paper and buried that head in my shoulder for a good 10 minutes while getting neck and bellie scratches. He truly is a lover. You have amazing Genes in those pups of yours, and they are hearty too. You deserve to be very proud of your line.

I know you are working your butt off with the new puppies and should not be
bothered with useless emails, but I could not resist after seeing the updates to your
web site. The picture of you with Sinatra, Ms Jersey and Nevada says it all. When you
say it keeps you young, the look on your face verifies that remark. I just cannot
imagine the joy you must feel with these little bundles of growing beauty. Tomorrow
we head to Carmel and Madison is ready to go. We are looking forward to Madison
seeing the ocean for the first time.
Thank you again for all your years of dedication and the wonderful results you have produced.

Hi Gina,
I'm glad to hear Spatz is doing so great. She is a real sweetheart. All your dogs are. I think Poker is the goofiest. He just has this look on his face that reminds me of Gomer Pyle. You just want to hug him to death . You have some fabulous dogs lady. It's because you take such good care of your dogs and love them to death that they respond so well to treatments.

Gina -
The ad in Dog News this week is absolutely beautiful. Most importantly, it says it all. "Poker" is such a special dog and you are so lucky that he is yours. It has been my privilege to have Eva compete with him this year.
Warmest regards,

---------------------------------------------
Hi Gina,
I just want you to know that all I have heard from EVERYONE I've talked to that was there on Saturday was how absolutely magnificent Poker was. Without exception, they agree that he showed like the fabulous champion that he is. You must have been so proud. I wish that I could have been there to tell you myself. The last time I saw him in person was Memorial Day weekend, when it was probably 97 degrees, in blazing sun, and he never opened his mouth!! He's an incredible show dog, and I know you have shared with me that he is a wonderful companion as well.
Warmest regards,
Laurie Maulucci

Ever have one of those days where the stars must be in alignment? Took Madison for her morning walk. She gets to run through wet grass which seems to be her favorite. There are four men that I would say are in their early seventies. They refer to Madison as their "little girl". When they ask how is she today, I always say" better each day" and their response is "how can you improve on perfection". They adore her.
The remainder of the day has been spent doing yard work and Ms. Madison has been the best "yard superintendent". Every bush that was trimmed, every board that was cut was inspected and approved by the little girl. This has been the kind of day where you just look at her and know you are so lucky to have this beautiful little girl.
Thank you again for all the years of your hard, dedicated work that has resulted in our Madison as well as all the others that are so loved and appreciated.
Nora
P.S. She is just so beautiful!
---------------------------------------------
Gina,
I have to say that Poker is the most wonderful all around balanced dog ever ( body and mind ) you must be pretty damn proud ( you should be!!! ) and I have to tell you I am not the bragging type, but I am very proud myself to tell people he is Vegas's father!! When ever anyone is around Vegas they cant stop gushing about what a wonderful handsome boy he is!!
Elisa

I just wanted to say hello and tell you how very much I admire your dogs! They are the epitome of beauty in Great Danes and Harles in particular. Congratulations on such fabulous success in your breeding program

Hi Gina,
Just wanted to say WOW WOW WOW, at your dogs. I surfed the net and looked at all different
Dane sites and your dogs are just amazing. They have it all, size, substance,
temperament. Not to mention those gorgeous heads. I loved Poker and The Northtown Rock. What beautiful specimens. Now, that is what
Great Danes should look like. I'm a dedicated Great
Dane person. I love the harlies most of all. I have
Danes at home (Australia). I often surf the web for sites that impress me and yours certainly has.
It's a credit to you as a breeder to see such good specimens. Obviously your years and experience in the great
Dane world have been instrumental in your ability to produce sound,
top quality Danes.
Anyway, just wanted to say, congratulations
on beautiful outstanding Great Danes. Keep up the great work. It's a pleasure to view your website.
All the best.

Gina,
"I had the pleasure of meeting your beautiful dog, Poker, yesterday at the Dog Show in Canton. He is just
absolutely stunning!!! My 2 yr. old son was petting him and kept asking me where Poker is at. He wanted to
take him home. I wish I could have - he was so gentle and happy. It is
obvious that he is well loved and taken care of."
I just wanted to compliment you on your beautiful dog and what you are doing for our "Great" breed!
Congratulations!

Gina,
Just wanted to tell you how impressed i was with poker, in person!!!.. he is a "spectacular" dog....MUCH much better in person, than in photographs!!!
I have his special "chalk" addition picture hanging in my studio, right over my desk. he surely exemplifies all that a
Great Dane should be....bravo! Congrats on all your success with
him...what a treasure he is!!!!
As a professional photographer & long time horse show person....I am always
skeptical of passing judgement on an animal based on a photo...I like to look at them in
person...he certainly is an exceptional boy!! all your hard work has certainly paid off in him, you hit it out of the "park" BIG time with him!!!
I'm not easily impressed, as I am lucky enough to see the best of the best in all the breeds...but he really did impress
me...i'm so happy you brought him to Florida!! ...I feel very fortunate to have been able to see him in person...what a guy!!! he's really got it all!
Continued & much success to you & that MOST handsome boy!

"From your website it doesn't look like you have a waiting list for your litters, but if there is any way that you could keep me in mind when you are having another litter I would greatly appreciate it. Your dogs are breath-taking and I would put a deposit down now just to have a chance at one. I am willing to wait for the right dog. I've seen a lot of puppies, but I have not seen any that compare to yours. Some litters have mostly cute ones, but your litters are all spectacular....every dog is breath-taking.
Let me know what I can do to help my chances of adopting one of your dogs."
Thanks
Becky
---------------------------------------------
You probably get hundreds of emails a day on
how beautiful your dogs are. I have NEVER seen more unbelievable animals in my life!!! The size and look of your dogs is
absolutely breath taking. Just the thought that one day I might own one of your dogs brings me
to tears.
I hope I don't sound like a Looney or something, but I have always wanted a
Harl. Dane and I spend hours on the computer every week looking at
pics. and reading up on them, and I
can't believe that I have never come across your site before! I have wanted a second one
since I got my first one, and have been seriously looking for almost 6 years now for one,
Please I understand how busy you must be, but if you have time can you PLEASE reply to me....
Thank You for your time,
Tammy
---------------------------------------------
Hi! I was the gal with the white Bull Terrier puppy who met you in Ohio. I want to say that your boy really caught my (Great Dane) uneducated eye. You said he was a winner, but nearly everyone says that at the Motels. I had no idea.
I just wanted to thank you for spending some time with us, and letting my Rhiannon get some socialization. Since meeting Poker, I am back on the idea of getting a Dane (so you know, I have shown since 1988, and have had Pedigree award winners). My dogs always live in the house. Maybe it was obvious, but I am pleased to have run up, and told you how much I admired Poker. I have shown for years, and never felt compelled to tell a Dane exhibitor that before.
Poker's temperament is awesome. If you'd like a testimonial, I'd surely provide it.
Thanks again,
Rene' Deckert
